I love it.

Bryce huh? Maybe I should take a shot at that program. I've been doing everything with 3DS Max 5.

if you master 3dsmax you don't need bryce ;) - thx for the comment

No problem.

That's if I master 3dsmax. At the pace I'm going I won't master it for another 300 years. lol

I'll try to get Bryce and see how it works. I bet it's hell of a lot easier. :)

I like the whole... thing. Specially that you haven't put the centre of the " thing" in the centre of the wp, as everybody else do. But I can't imagine what the background are portraying. I think thats not of importance...

Great!

very nice piece, but I personally like your last better..
Colors on this one are very nice! but well, 1 - I'm no big fan of tiles, definatly not this size of tiles (smaller come out better) and I would make them less obvious (more transparent)
2- some small parts on the render are a bit pointy - a bit jaggered'ish, that could be just a bit smoother
3- the > are a bit jaggered, I prefer them smooth too :s ... and some of the small text (which is unreadable) has the same jagerednes prob..

for the rest the ps shape is absolutely awesome, the colors (as mentioned before) are very tasty and the shape itself is not bad at all either!

the 3d part was made with bryce, a 3d program for morons ;) easy to use, but has a lot of nice features and possibilities. i added a slight depth of field effect in photoshop... even if bryce is able to render a pic with a dof effect it's faster to do it by hand. - thx for the comment :)

in honesty, i think i preferred the cleaner original render, bit too much 2d brushes here. not to say it isn't of good quality... but i just think the original was better.
