ENLIGHTENED

This one will be a book cover of the romanian release of gene wolfe's "book of the long sun" fantasy novel. Have had a hard time with the characters there, since i'm far away from being a character artist. On the other hand i managed to bring together some nice architecture. So the good and bad things balance out each other which results in a satisfying feeling from me for the pic.

The scene in the pic is a very special scene from the actual story in the book. Our main character becomes enlighted by one of the gods of his world.
