That's really cool. But I don't recall there being any inscriptions on the outside of the ring, I recall there being inscriptions only on the inside. Could just be me though..

Alright, it's amazing in some respects. I just don't know about the background. The ring itself is beautifully rendered and it's got a wonderful orange-fire glow to the whole piece, illuminating almost perfectly... but something's a bit off. It might be your choice of phrase.
