Photo - Austrian III by tigaer Photo - Austrian III by tigaer
this is around the corner from where we had our lodge in austria. this is a hardcore panorama... almost froze my rear off. 15 separate shots i think. 45sec long exposure for each shot. had to do the timing by guessing the time. luckily i got it together pretty good. you don't want to know what i used to stabilize my cam... but it wasn't a tripod. so i had to use photoshop to fix a few things. conditions were not the best around 02:00 in the morning. =D but guess what... - i wouldn't miss it for the world. it was a great sight! i would do it again.

original size 19775x7537 - 2.46gb psb file. fun fun :D lol

stitching done in photoshop cs4. can only recommend the panorama merge in cs4. works amazingly well! even with vertical panoramas. nothing done to the actual photo data except some sharpening.

was a great time in austria. thanks to `igy and ~la-tela =)

Great exposure!!!

Any way I can get a resize of the original shrunk by a factor of 4? Or, something for 3 widescreens (5040x1050)? Would be much appreciated!!

Nice photo, though I have to wonder what you were doing on a deserted Austrian hillside in the middle of the night. :D

Hell yeah I'd do it again, this is AMAZING! Wow, and to think 15 separate shots. Now that's dedication and it's definitely paid off. Flawless! :worship:

May be you could have changed the contrast/brightness a tad to bring out the lights a bit more. Other than that a nice panoramic view

Only a hardcore graphics/photo guy would subject himself to such conditions for "the perfect shot" hahaha - good to see you're still around man. I've been gone a while but plan on submitting stuff soon.
