Photo - Captured Beauty II by tigaer Photo - Captured Beauty II by tigaer
Canon 20d with Sigma EX DG AF 105 /f 2.8 Macro Lens.

Once again i tried myself in macro photography and got some indeed great results. I'm now able to say that i know how to handle my new macro lens and am now able to get good results under different conditions. Though not all pics turn out as good as captured beauty one or the piece we see here. Special thanks this time to a special friend who provided me with water and a plant.

Happy viewing...! :)

ps: absolutely NO manips done here xcept color refining and some light sharpening!

Dwee (my mental distress word), I was gonna ask if this was the original or if you did manipulate it. I can't imagine getting the droplets of water that perfect. Wonderfully bloody magnificent capture

Beautiful red and beautifully captured blobs. The lens is obviously pretty good - octagonal aperture? Perfect angle and focus anyway this is sensual!

octagonal - i had to consult my translator for that lol - though i cannot answer your question. in the specifications to that lens is nothing to find about something like that aparature thing. :) - thx man!

hehe - the more sides an aperture has the closer to a circle it can get and, with a few other techy reasons, better. I counted the sides to the blurry sparkles in the background to come to that conclusion. :)

I thought you were saying "you never learn out on certain stuff" as in "you never learn anything on certain stuff" - in which case the term is not "out" but "owt" - but if you did actually mean "out" then it doesn't make sense

owt? well we in germany have this saying: "man lernt nie aus" - what means that you can never learn everything and therefor you will be learning always and ever. so 'you never learn out' is somehow a word to word translation of 'man lernt nie aus' lol - however...
