part three of the series...

part one -> [link] (includes the creation story)

part two -> [link]

this time a traditional photo look. :)

the story behind the title lies in the eye of the beholder and can be interpreted differently. i have chosen the title because of the ages light needs to get somewhere. it's hard to imagine what the lightbeams, we see in the shot, must have seen on their journey down to earth. in the end they lose all their shiny strength and create such mystical sceneries like the one we see in this shot. a precious end for a beam of light... wouldn't you say? :)

happy viewing... =)

What type of camera is this, and how did you get the rays of light? I've tried with a Kodak camera before up in a barn near my house, but I feel that Kodak is... terrible. Anyway, could you give me a little info on the camera?

that shot was taken with a minolta dimage 7i. you can usually find all info on the lower right of the description. rays aren't easy to capture. i had quite some luck there.

Thanks. I saw that info in the section you mentioned, but I've never heard of the brand before.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that your art is very good. In fact, I've been working on making every part of my computer fantasy-based. I've got a logon screen of a dragon flying far off in the sunset, my guest account's background is Erat [link] , and my own background is... Well, I can't find the link, but it's Ephel Duath. Anyway, it was great that those fit my screen resolution, too ^^ Keep up the great work!

Geezus! What a lucky (or well planned ^^) shot! The light beams cut so clearly through the shadows and the forest soil looks like a well treausured secret brought to light. 1+
