this is the result of a visit in the nuremberg zoo 2 weeks ago. i took about 200 shots there and almost filled my 1gb microdrive. had 20 shots left.

what we have here is some sort of dragon. unfortunately i can't remind what kind/sort of. the rough skin looked awesome and was horribly hard to see. i really enjoyed these little buggers.

uuh wie hast denn den so toll hingekriegt? der ist doch hinter glas oder? Bei mir bekommt dass dann entweder eine Spiegelung von der Beleuchtung in den terrarien oder irgendeinen komischen farbstich

bei dem bild is es nicht einfach gewesen, stimmt. das licht dort war bescheiden und ich musste eine recht lange belichtungszeit wählen. eigentlich ein wunder das es nicht verzittert ist das bild. um reflektionen zu vermeiden habe ich eben ohne blitz fotografiert. glas war schön sauber. ging also ganz gut.

na gut dass diese exenviecher meist stundenlang in der gleichen position daliegen

naja ich glaube ich hab damals noch ein wenig cleanup in photoshop gemacht. und ja... is faszinierend bei den tieren. manchmal steht man direkt davor und man SIEHT SIE NICHT lol da kommt man sich dann verarscht vor wenn man auf einmal ein auge vor sich hat.

~swimbike is right, defo a Bearded Dragon. We have one ourselves and these things are so docile it's unbelievable!

Awesome capture and excellent detail - There's a slight smidge of reflection to the right of the image, but nothing too obvious.

Der Titel passt perfekt zum Blick des... öhm... Tieres ^^
Das Bild gefällt mir übrigens sehr sehr gut, ich weiß nur noch nicht so ganz ob es daher kommt, das du unseren kleinen "Drachen" so schön "verpackt" hast und der Hintergrund sehr gut miteinander harmonieren oder weil das Foto selbst irgendwie etwas hat, was ich irgendwie klasse finde.
Ich denke aber eher es ist beides zusammen ^^
Also wenn immer solche Bilder dabei rauskommen, wenn du in den Zoo gehst solltest du das mal des öfteren tun ^^

That is a Bearded Dragon, as far as I can see. I used to have one as a pet (they're the nicest lizard you will ever meet) but she died recently
