remnant & lost

another terragen - photoshop mix.
the photoshop part was quite a tough challenge and took hours to create. i hope i did the manipulation part quite well... from my point of view it looks rather good.

i really hope you'll like it... and happy viewing.

ps: i excuse the filesize

the word 'lost' in the title stands for the lonely lighthouse in the back... it has a reason why it's so alone... ;) (Wink) - just to explain...

Love it! :thumbsup: The lighting is VERY evocative, but the lighthouse is what truly makes it. The lighthouse is what gives it emotion. Without that it'd just be light on water. Something doesn't seem quite right about the near cliff on the left though... It still feels pasted in to me.

I have seen better from you, the mountains are a little like cardboard cutouts, but this does have a great effect of depth to it, the lighthouse seems so far away. The water at the bottom left looks great, I think you excelled at that, very effective as are the nicely positioned rays.

Looking at the scene overall, I get a sense of grandeur and fantasy, you pulled that off very well.

Looks very good, I love the colors and the landscape. And the way you make the water kind of splash up is just great, you should really write a tutorial on that. Ive tried but never been able to do it.

Hey, the 'loads of different renders' technique you use paid off again ;) (Wink)

I think the post-render touchups are the best bit though, and I love that lighthouse over there.

You're skies are absolutely stunning as usual :D (Big Grin) I love that water too and those mountains on the left. The only dodgy thing is that cliff maybe, but it doesn't ruin the pic by any means. A stunner :D (Big Grin)
